# Dedicated application pools

We offer Dedicated application pools (also known as Isolated Application pools) for all our Shared and Reseller Windows plans.

**With Dedicated application pools all domains and their applications are isolated from each other, which provides the following benefits:**

* Application pools are secured from each other and they run with different users.

* Ability to run different applications under different .NET frameworks (2.0, 4.0 etc.)

* Ability to customize the pool as per application needs. For example to set different Timeout or Job Limit

* Application pool recycle/locking will take down only the applications in that pool.

* Dedicated web.config file for all application/websites
