Caching (Mocha Boost)

Mocha Boost is a set of performance enhancement features currently available only for our Mocha (Linux) hosting plans, for any subscribers signed up after September 1st, 2014.

The main features which can be enabled for a specific website (URL) or entire domain are:

  1. Static content caching - with specific time to live, which can be set in seconds or minutes. Default setting for new accounts is 30 minutes.

  2. Dynamic content caching - with specific time to live, which can be set in seconds or minutes. Default settings for new accounts is set to 0 seconds.

  3. Aggressive caching for specific URLs - set a specific caching time, different than the main domain(s) default cache time.

You can greatly improve the performance of your site by enabling one of the two caching methods, or both. This is especially important for busy sites, or sites URLs that get a lot of traffic or spike traffic.

To take advantage of these features, adjust the default values, or disable caching for your account please, contact us our support department.
