What is EPP authorization key (code)?

To improve the security of the domain name registrations, and protect the domain name owners, ICANN (organization responsible for all domain name rules, and regulations) has enforced the use of so called domain name EPP authorization keys (sometimes referred as EPP code).

The EPP Authorization Keys are required for .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .bz, .us, .com.cn, .net.cn, .org.cn, .cn, .kids.us, .com.tw, .org.tw, .idv.tw, .in, .co.in, .net.in, .org.in, .firm.in, .gen.in, .ind.in and .jobs names before a transfer order can be submitted.

You MUST obtain the Authorization keys (EPP) from your current registrar (the place where you have purchased your domain) before we can initiate a domain transfer for your domain. A lot of times this is most likely your previous web hosting company.

Please, note that this requirement is enforced by ICANN and we have absolutely no way to control or override this process!
