Psi Probe - Tomcat Manager

NOTE: This article applies only for our Private JVM tool available for all cPanel Private JVM Linux accounts (does not apply to our Shared JVM Business, or Shared JVM Mocha accounts). The private JVM is also available for our Java VPS + Java cloud packages.

This article shows you how to use Psi Probe as a Tomcat management GUI.

NOTE: There are still some unconfirmed compatibility issues with Psi Probe and Tomcat version 8 or later. We recommend that you use Tomcat Manager app, if you plan on using Tomcat version 8 or later.

When you map a domain name you will see the "Select Management Application" menu right bellow the section "Mapped domains" under your Private JVM tool.

To use the Psi Probe Tomcat manager, you need to select Psi Probe and then click on the "Set" button. When you go back to your Private JVM menu you should see "Select Tomcat Main user and password" section.

You MUST set the administrator's user name, and administrator's password for accessing your Tomcat manager instance. After clicking on the "Set" button the tool will setup your account roles and rights, so you will be able to access your Psi Probe using the following link:

yourdomain.com/probe - where yourdomain.com is the mapped domain in your Private JVM.

After logging to Psi Probe you will be able to set additional usernames and passwords, but please note that if you set your tomcat user again in Private JVM it will wipe off all additional users you have created.
