Outlook error: 0x80042108

If you are getting the following error while using Microsoft Outlook:

"Reported error (0x80042108): Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (POP3) email server."

The most common reasons for this is:

1. You have some sort of connectivity issue which might be caused by your local ISP, or you might be blocked on our.

2. You have anti virus software or firewall which is blocking connections to our server

3. You have damaged local files, such as bad installation of Outlook, corruption due to updates, bad drivers, etc.
