Use Google for your email service
cPanel Control Panel
(All Linux Shared, Linux Reseller Packages)- Login to your cPanel control panel
- Navigate to your Mail section and then -> Mx entry
- Remove all existing MX entries
- You have to set the following MX records for Google apps:
Priority / Server
1 / aspmx.l.google.com.5 / alt1.aspmx.l.google.com.
5 / alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.
10 / aspmx2.googlemail.com.
10 / aspmx3.googlemail.com.
10 / aspmx4.googlemail.com.
10 / aspmx5.googlemail.com.
- Last step required is for you to set the following CNAME Record from the cPanel -
Advanced DNS Zone editor
Type: CNAMEName: mail
TTL: 3600
CNAME: ghs.googlehosted.com.
SolidCP
(Available with all of our Windows Shared, Windows Shared Reseller packages)- Login to your SolidCP
- Select Domains -> The exact domain that you want to set MX -> Edit DNS zone records (at the right side of yourscreen)
5 / alt1.aspmx.l.google.com.
5 / alt2.aspmx.l.google.com.
10 / aspmx2.googlemail.com.
10 / aspmx3.googlemail.com.
10 / aspmx4.googlemail.com.
10 / aspmx5.googlemail.com.
Plesk Control Panel:
1.Log in to your Plesk Control Panel.- Go to Home-> Domains-> The exact domain that you want to add mx records->DNS Settings
- Remove all records that hassomething to do with mail.There select following 3 records mail.domain.com A records, webmail.domain.com A/CNAME records &domain.com MX records and
- Click on add records.
Enter domain name: mail
Enter a canonical name: ghs.google.com (Click OK)
- Click again on Add Record
yourdomainname.com. MX (20)ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
yourdomainname.com. MX (20)ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM.
yourdomainname.com. MX (30)ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
yourdomainname.com. MX (30)ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
yourdomainname.com. MX (30)ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM.
yourdomainname.com. MX (30)ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. (click OK)
- You will need to repeat the above step to create additional MX records for redundancy.
- After adding MX records Disable the current mail service in Plesk. You can do it with below steps:
