Shared MySQL Connection Limits

MochaHost limits a maximum of 5 simultaneous MySQL connections per account on the shared hosting plans. This limit can be adjusted for VPS and Dedicated/Cloud Servers.

The 5 MySQL connections limit should be sufficient for most sites hosted in a shared hosting environment since most database connections open and close within seconds. For example, a forum with active members will rarely go up to 5 simultaneous connections.
