Mod\_pagespeed is an open-source web server module, which automatically applies filters to pages and associated assets, such as stylesheets, JavaScript, and HTML files, as well as to images and website cache requirements.  The largest advantage of this module is that it does not require modifications to existing content or workflow, meaning that all internal optimizations and changes to files are made on the server side, presenting modified files directly to the user. For more information visit the official mod\_pagespeed site.

Activate Mod\_Pagespeed from cPanel

  1. Login into your cPanel account
  2. Go to Mocha Tools -> Page Speed
  3. Enable Page speed for desired domain by clicking on “ON” button
  4. Mod\_Pagespeed will be activated instantly for the desired domain and you will receive the following message:
Success! Mod\_Pagespeed has been enabled for example.com.
