How to Disable Mod\_Security in cPanel

Mod\_Security is a toolkit for real time web application firewall and monitoring. It is used to block commonly known exploits by use of rule sets. Mod\_Security increase the amount of protection for your web applications and we will not recommend to disable Mod\_Security on your account.
  1. Log into cPanel
  2. Scroll down to Security and choose ModSecurity
  1. You can disable mod\_security for a particular domain. Select the domain you want to disable and click Off button
